The Village at Westerville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is conveniently located off 270 in Westerville, Ohio. Today, our center is more like a hospital than the nursing homes of 10 years ago. The majority of our patients are admitted for short-term aggressive therapy as opposed to long-term residential care. Our consulting physiatrist and experienced staff has extensive training in caring for high acuity patients that you normally would expect to find in a hospital setting.
The hub of activity in the rehabilitation unit are our spacious therapy gyms. We offer physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Some of our state-of-the-art equipment includes electrical stimulation, diathermy and ultrasound. We also utilize a lite-gait machine to help with gait and simulate movement, standing table, hi-lo mat and parallel bars. Our training kitchen, laundry, and bathroom facility supports practicing home management skills.
Patients in our rehabilitation units enjoy spacious semi-private rooms with hospital quality beds, complimentary cable TV and telephones with local service. While here, patients can also enjoy socializing in our activity room. The separate entrance directly off of the therapy gym makes it easy to return for outpatient therapy appointments.
