Welcome to The Laurels of Massillon. To us, caring is more than providing comprehensive rehabilitation services, skilled nursing, subacute and assisted living care. It’s also being a companion, and treating each guest with utmost dignity, respect and compassion. It’s what we call “The Laurel Way of Caring”, and it comes from within each one of us.
The Laurels

Nestled in a scenic residential area, The Laurels of Massillon is centrally located near the main highways and all area hospitals. Our outside barbecue grill/fireplace, enclosed courtyard and private family dining room provide a perfect setting for quiet time or social activity.
Rehabilitation

The professional staff at The Laurels of Massillon can assist in your transition from hospital to home. Through our individualized rehabilitation programs, we specialize in helping you regain physical independence after your stay in the hospital. We have licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists and language pathologists on staff.

Our medical programs include post-surgical care, cardiac recovery, stroke rehabilitation, progressive wound healing program and IV therapy, all overseen by our Medical Director. We work with your physician to design a personal "care plan" to help you achieve the fullest recovery possible.
Skilled Nursing

Should you require an extended or short-term stay, we provide the most advanced medical care available outside of a hospital. We provide 24-hour skilled nursing care and around-the-clock admissions. We offer a continuum of care by providing a medical model assisted living program. Our short-term stay services include rehabilitation, respite and hospice care.

Recreation

As our guest, you are welcome to make our home your home. We offer crafts, cooking classes, annual Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas celebrations, a craft show, Oktoberfest, country outings, games, summer barbecues and pet therapy for your enjoyment. Church services are also available. It’s all part of The Laurel Way of Caring.
