We offer wound management led by a Wound Care Specialist and our highly trained nursing staff. ManorCare provides occupational, physical, speech and respiratory therapy utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to help patients achieve their goals. A specialized speech therapy room with acoustic walls and floors facilitate teaching patients to speak more clearly, express ideas, understand what is being said, swallow without difficulty and use hearing aids effectively.
ManorCare also has a secured Arcadia Alzheimer's unit with a dedicated team of professionals, including a manager, activity programmers, licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants, dietitian and housekeeper. Each is trained to understand the changing needs of individuals with dementia and provide the latest care approaches and techniques to help residents remain as independent as possible. The Arcadia Unit has its own private dining room, lounge, and secured courtyard.
ManorCare offers private and semi-private rooms, on-site social services personnel, a full schedule of life enhancing activities, socialization through recreational services and full-time dietitian and certified dietary manager to meet special diet accommodations.
