As hospitals discharge patients faster, Heartland of Marion was designed to provide the post-hospital care these patients need. We offer a broad range of intensive therapeutic services designed to maximize the abilities of patients, helping them reach their rehabilitation goals as quickly as possible. Heartland of Marion has beautifully appointed rooms which include personal TVs and local telephone service.

The rehab gym offers state-of-the-art equipment and a dedicated team of in-house therapists providing individualized treatment plans. Our advanced modalities program features electrical stimulation, ultrasound and short wave diathermy. When needed, we also incorporate a training kitchen for practicing home management skills for a smooth transition home.

Heartland also offers a specialized Alzheimer's unit - called Arcadia, for those patients suffering from dementia-related disorders. The unit features a home-like atmosphere with special considerations for our patients' needs. Cardiac support, pain management, stroke, orthopedic, and general rehabilitation, respiratory and Alzheimer's care are just a few of the services we provide. We also offer a pre-surgery program for those patients with planned surgeries scheduled.
